Description

This is a character I originally drew in the 5th grade. over 20 years later I've revamped him a touch. I also have an ongoing project involving many artists doing their own versions of the character, or just artwork inspired by MetalMan.

This is very cool, so flawless in the metal that it looks very much like painted over 3D, so bad it lacks a little bit of ambiance, a table or something to pose the figure in would be very cool.
The robot design is a mixture of old school mechs and new school anime mechs, some influences like evangelion, very nicely done.

Yeah, the original character was very silly looking, having drawn it as a child. So I wanted to keep that childlike goofiness, yet make it seem realalistic, and sort of bad ass. The Flames up the arms were just a joke after hearing that Optimus Prime's design for the Transformers movie would have flames on him.
